  • What qualifications do I need to conduct a BioAge test?

    None.

You need to be aware of the associated risks and warning signs when conducting a physical assessment test. We highly recommend you seek advice from your industry regulating association.

  • How much is it to create an account?

Creating a BioAge account is free! All you need to do is sign-up. You only get charged once you decide to start testing, and choose how many credits you want to buy. 1 credit = 1 test.
  • Is the clinical test more expensive than the standard test?

No. One credit is equal to one BioAge assessment. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing the Standard, Clinical, Sport or the Strength version of the assessment.
  • What’s the simplest test option?

We highly recommend you to do BioAge’s standard test without any customisations. We’ve designed this test to be conducted in the simplest way. This provides all BioAge facilitators with a version to follow which maximises client experience, eliminates user error, gives clients the opportunity to compare results if they want to, improve on their own BioAge and tell their friends all about it.

  • What should I do if my client can’t run, how do I conduct the V02 max test?

There are many options here. The first two are common tests we offer as a customisation within any BioAge Assessment.

    1. Queens College Step Test (QCST) which is still quite physical but often a sub-maximal HR test that monitors HR as a prediction of VO2max. Depending on why your client can’t run, this may also be inappropriate?
    2. Direct Measure: There are many ways to test VO2max directly. You can do a bike test and select your own sub-maximal HR test or use something like the Polar Heart Rate Monitor’s Own Index: This is a non-sweat predictor of VO2max. You first need to enter the clients age, height, weight etc, and then, by using HR variability and resting HR the watch predicts VO2max, which you would enter into our software under the Direct Measure option.
  • What’s the ideal way to test corporates within a workplace?

The clinical test is exactly the same as the standard test, with the addition of 3 blood measures: HDL cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose. If you have a cardio-check machinethere is one panel which does all 3 – the metabolic panel. An instructional video example of a blood test is here
