As a part of the Standard and other BioAge Tests, the VO2max assessment measures the client’s maximum capacity to transport and use oxygen during incremental exercise. If you are conducting the recommended Beep Test/Shuttle Run with a beep test app, then enter the level and shuttle which automatically generates a variation in the calculator.
For the Queens College Step Test, enter the heart rate for the first 15 seconds of recovery (do NOT multiply by 4). For all other indirect or direct tests, enter in the VO2 that has been calculated from the test.
When entering your data, be sure to keep in mind the VO2max norms for men and women, making sure that you’re client’s results are within a range that seems accurate.
